Learner's Permit Class for New Arizona Drivers

Cantor's leaner's permit class

Cantor's Driving School offers an in-person class to help prospective new teen drivers in Arizona get ready to take the exam that is required to apply for a learner's permit as part of the graduated driver licensing process. The material that will be covered in the class room is the Arizona Driving Handbook; each student will be receiving this handbook at the time of class. The instructors for this class have a background in education / teaching along with strong command of the subject matter. This comprehensive course costs only $35, with an optional service to take the learner's permit test that day, at an additional charge of $30 to cover the fees involved.

Getting Your Arizona Learner's Permit

As of March, 2018, learner's permit applicants between the ages of 15½ and 17 years old can take the written drivers' test online as an alternative to taking the test in-person at the AZ MVD or third party test facility. The name of the online testing program is Permit Test @ Home. The Permit Test @ Home must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian, and requires the same $7 application fee that is charged for in-person tests. Teens will have three attempts to pass the test within 12 months. In-person testing is still available for all applicants and is the only option for applicants that are 18 years old and over.
